Reach Out America ("ROA," "we," "us") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit disaster-relief organization at 1108 Soldiers Field Court, Suite 800, Sugar Land, TX 77479. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit reachoutamerica.org, fill out our forms, volunteer, donate, or sign up for our emails or text messages.
Information we collect
Information you give us: name, email, mailing address, phone or mobile number, church or organization, volunteer skills and availability, and anything else you enter on our forms.
Donation information: donations are processed by secure third-party payment processors. We receive your name, contact details, and gift amount, but we do not store full card or bank numbers.
Automatic information: our website host (Squarespace) and analytics tools may collect your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and cookies.

To coordinate disaster-relief deployments, volunteers, and partner churches
To process donations and send receipts
To send newsletters, updates, and (if you opt in) text messages
To respond to your questions and improve our website and programs

How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate (such as our website host, payment processor, CRM, and email and text messaging platforms), with partner organizations when needed to coordinate a relief response you volunteered for, or when required by law.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you opt in to text messages, we collect your mobile number and the date, time, and method of your consent, and use them only to send the Reach Out America messages you requested (deployment alerts, volunteer reminders, and relief updates). No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party. Information may be shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages, or as required by law. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.
