How does an area in distress request help??
You can contact ROA directly and inquire if we have been activated for a certain disaster declaration. If so, we can point you to our local distribution and resource area. If not, we can begin the discovery process to find a location to provide resources for the community impacted by disasters.
-
How is ROA funded?
We are funded through donations from the Church, businesses, and individuals. We work with volunteers on location to minimize our overhead and maximize our delivery of resources and help to families and communities.
-
How do we get help?
ROA receives requests from churches or partners to help after a disaster. We establish primary and secondary locations to distribute disaster resources, depending on the size and scope of the disaster, as well as the abilities of our local partners to provide space and volunteers, and our partners to supply products for distribution. We then communicate via social media, local news, as to our location and availability hours to get the word out into the community.
